An animated construct created to guard the tomb of an important official, using the head of his assassin. The severed head of the murderer is immediately placed onto the clay body after the execution, with the blood seeping into the porous surface and binding it WITH MAGIC.
The construct is already enchanted to give life to an otherwise inanimate statue, and both preserves the head from decay and gives the statue moving features.
Of course as any other public monument, it gets fucked over by birds, with ravens often pecking out the softest parts of the human face.
