Today is the day i'll explain the things a bit :I
it's a bit too big to add to the handguns on the gun wall anyway (that thing fav.me/d7lb0mc )
this is a gun my OC Chandelle made for 's OC Hadley (more on that here fav.me/d7tf1mw )
the base is a scoped 1874 Sharps Buffalo carbine in .50-90, and Hadley's some kind of weeaboo so the theme for the modifications was NIHON KAWAII DES!
Hadley's color pattern is maroon and blue, which is convenient for the nihon stuff: I went with a cherry wood stock, with silver sugoi sakura flowers inlays. In a broader way, I made the gun muzzle flare up a bit like a teppo's one, with a matching stock butt and some misc decoration.
Hadley's had some misadventure with lightning, so the weapon itself (the stock in particular) was designed to be reminiscent of a thunderbolt. I also think the mon on the bead above the hanging thingy is a symbol for thunder, but I couldn't cross reference it.
That dangly thingy bit itself is called an Inro. It's a little box very useful in a country so fond of practical designs that no clothes had pockets on them. This one in particular is used here as a signature by Chandelle (hence the candle), whose guns almost invariably feature carved bone grips (see the gun wall).
the inscription on the gun's main frame reads 1 4 3, because there's only so much she can say before using a gun.
